Make the Most of Your iFAST Multi-Currency Debit Card 🌍💳

Whether you're spending, saving, or travelling, your iFAST Multi-Currency Debit Card is designed to give you more flexibility and control. Here are a few useful tips to help you get the most out of it: 

Activating Your Card

Just make sure your first physical transaction is done using your PIN. This will activate the contactless feature for future use. 

Insufficient funds in the selected currency 

If there is not enough balance in your chosen currency account, we’ll automatically try the next available currency in your account that has sufficient balance to cover the full payment. 

We will not split the payment across multiple currencies. Instead, we’ll look for one single currency that can be debited for the full amount. 

Here’s the order we’ll check: GBP → USD → EUR → HKD → SGD→ JPY→ CHF→ CNY. 

For example, if there’s not enough in your JPY account but your GBP account has enough, we’ll convert from GBP to JPY to complete your spending in Japan. 

Travelling aboard?  

Use your Multi-Currency Debit Card to spend the currency directly from your account balance, just like a local. Need cash? You can withdraw from ATMs abroad, we won’t charge you any fees, but do look for ATMs that don’t add their own operator fees.  

When you’re back in the UK, any leftover Euros in your account will continue to earn interest.
