With cross-currency payment support, there’s no need to pre-convert funds before you travel; we’ll handle the currency conversion for you.
Examples:
- Pay merchants in Hong Kong (HKD) using your USD balance
- Pay merchants in Malaysia (MYR) using your GBP balance
- Pay merchants in Germany (EUR) using your SGD balance
Please note that same-currency payments are not supported under Scan & Pay.

- Scan and pay at participating overseas merchants
- Earn 1% cashback on eligible spending during the promotion period
When Will You Receive Your Cashback?
Eligible cashback rewards will be credited to the eligible Account Holder’s Multi-Currency Current Account on 31 August 2026. Cashback will be calculated based on the GBP equivalent of the transaction amount at the time of settlement, subject to the exchange rate determined by iFAST Global Bank.

Worldwide Scan & Pay is currently available in:
Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong SAR, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Laos, Maldives, Australia, New Zealand, the European Economic Area (30 member countries), Switzerland, San Marino, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Mauritius, Armenia, the United States, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.
China, Japan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Pakistan are not currently supported but remain under active development. QR code payments are also not currently available within the United Kingdom.
