  • You can fund your account from your Multi-Currency Current Account, Flexible Cash ISA or transfer-in from another ISA provider.
  • You can transfer all or part of your Cash ISA to iFAST from previous tax years, provided the funds are accessible. Please note that current year subscriptions must be transferred in full.

Maturity

  • At maturity, your funds and any accrued interest will be moved to your Flexible Cash ISA, which is automatically opened alongside your Fixed Rate Cash ISA when you open this account. We will notify you before the maturity of your Fixed Rate Cash ISA.

During the cancellation period

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date your account is opened. During this period, you may close your account through online banking or the mobile app without penalty, subject to ISA regulations.

After the cancellation period

If your circumstances change and you need access to your money before maturity, you can choose to move your funds into your Flexible Cash ISA for withdrawal, or transfer your ISA to another provider.

Please note that early access will require the closure of your Fixed Rate Cash ISA and must be for the full account balance. Early closure may result in the loss of interest earned, as set out in the Terms & Conditions.

Withdrawing money from your ISA may also affect the future tax-free benefits associated with those funds.

Transfer Out

If you'd like to transfer your ISA to another provider before maturity, we'll first require you to move your funds into your Flexible Cash ISA to enable the transfer. Simply provide your Flexible Cash ISA CI reference number, available in your ISA dashboard, to your new provider.

Please note that transferring before maturity will close your Fixed Rate Cash ISA and may result in the loss of some or all accrued interest, in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.

  1. Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and may change in the future.
  2. ISA subscription limits are set by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and may change. For current limits and guidance, please refer to HMRC's ISA regulations: https://www.gov.uk/individual-savings-accounts
