In today’s digital banking environment, staying vigilant against fraud is more important than ever. That’s why we’ve introduced a multi-step process designed to protect your funds and help you build trust with your payees.

One of the key features is Test Payment & Trusted Payee - a simple but powerful way to make sure your money is going exactly where you want it to go.

Why Do a Test Payment?

*Only applies to GBP payments made within the UK

When sending over £110 to a new payee, you’ll first be asked to make a small test payment. This extra step allows you to confirm the recipient’s details and ensure the funds are going to the right person. It’s especially helpful when sending money to someone for the first time or when transferring larger amounts.

Why Add a Trusted Payee?

*Only applies to GBP payments made within the UK

Marking someone as a Trusted Payee ensures that future transactions with them won’t require initial verifications like test payments. This feature is especially useful for recurring transfers to family, business partners, or vendors you know well.

But before you can do that, we guide you through a secure multi-step verification process to ensure everything is in place.
